We previously shared in our February 9th, 2022 update that the Government of Alberta had initiated a three step approach to removing COVID restrictions in the Province. Effective March 1st at 12:01 AM, Step 2 was enacted with the following changes impacting our facilities:
Capacity limits lifted for venues - we will no longer have a capacity limit of 500 people unless our partner organizations utilizing our facility impose them for sanctioned play
Restrictions for interactivity between patrons and table limits in our lounge have now been lifted
The Province also removed the Provincial mandate for the use of masks in public; however, it is important to understand that we still fall under the City of Edmonton Bylaw 19408 which requires the use of masks for all people over the age of 2 in public places
The health and safety of everyone who visits our facilities is paramount to us and we appreciate your continued assistance through these changing times.
